Well, friends and family, Henry and I are soon off again on another adventure. This trip will be for 53 days and will include Spain and France. We've both been to Spain before however have not covered a lot of territory so this is our "in-depth" visit. And what can I say about France? Much as we love it, we've pretty much covered the whole country on our visits (Henry approx. 12x and Moi - see I even speak the language (hahaha), about 8x) and Henry's even done a long stay (6 weeks) when we went to Turenne ( I was working and could only stay 3 weeks). But, it keeps calling us back. I don't know why....... is it the food, the people, the countryside, the history, the wine, the smells..... I think it's all of it. In 2013 we were fortunate enough to spend 2 months in Italy and LOVED it! I think we'll love this trip too....
At the start of this adventure we will be travelling by plane and train through Spain. We'll be visiting Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba, Madrid, Granada and some points in between and not necessarily in that order. We'll be seeking out Tapas bars and historical sites in all cities. We'll be on the go for about three weeks straight.... staying in one spot for up to three days. In late April we'll fly from Madrid to eat our way through Lyon for three days where we'll pick up our car and head to our Home Away http://www.vrbo.com/371757ha in Pierrelatte, France.
As usual, we wish everyone could join us as there is nothing like going on an adventure with family and friends. We're really lucky this year as we're expecting visitors this time! Sharon and Eugene and Sandy and Wasson just happen to be touring in France at the same time so we're looking forward to seeing them the latter part of May.... Well more to come.... we leave via Air France on Wednesday, April 8th......hoping we can share some wonderful experiences with you, Jo and Henry.
